Books Written by POC for Kids and Adults

I was an avid reader as a kid. I never really identified with characters in books as deeply as I did characters on TV, but I still just accepted the stories as is. As with a lot of things—the importance of nuance hit me later in life. It's in the details of the character descriptions. Or how they handle a particular situation. It's a big reason as to why movies like "Get Out" are so great.
